Cette pièce aborde de manière littérale les aspects visuels de ma pratique. L'oeuvre jouer sur la dimension magique d'une image qui est à la fois fixe et en mouvement. Les yeux clignotants donnent l'impression d'une vigilance active, l'impression qu'une personne observe l'œuvre pendant qu'elle l'observe. Cette ambiguïté tend à remettre en cause nos perceptions et la construction de la réalité.
This piece is a more literal formation of the visual aspects which concern my practice. The work is designed to play on the fantastical nature of an image which is both still and moving at the same time. The blinking eyes give the impression of active watchfulness to any viewers, so a person is observing the work whilst it is observing them. The blurred lines in terms of spectatorship serve to challenge perceptions and further question the construction of reality.
